STORY

FROM ITS BEGINNING IN 1880, AN ANTIQUE MIRROR HAS HUNG IN THE MANOR HOUSE OF THE SANTA RITA ESTATE.

It has kept the secrets of dances held, toasts made, and moments shared. In its empty room, hundreds of parties have come and gone. The mirror has seen times of grandeur and elegant celebrations; on certain afternoons, the mirror witnessed something livelier. Over time, Santa Rita’s popularity has made it the top winery in Chile, and the mirror continues to guard its secrets.

Like each and every mirror, each glass of Santa Rita Secret Reserve wine will be filled with stories that begin as soon as you share the bottle. Each wine is created by blending grape varieties and diverse expressions for the most balanced, delicious sip.

PINOT NOIR

What’s the Secret?

100% Pinot Noir grapes from three of Chile’s top regions – freshness from Casablanca, juiciness from Colchagua Costa and elegance from Maipo Alto.

PROFILE

You’ll be pulled in by the velvety, purplish-red color. Grapes for this Pinot Noir are picked from the three valleys at the peak of ripeness and vinified separately before blending. The result is wonderfully complex wine with notes of blueberry, cherry, and floral notes plus a sweet touch of vanilla, caramel and roasted coffee. The final expression is an abundantly fruity intensity finishing with a fresh and juicy acidity.

RED BLEND

What’s the Secret?

A perfectly balanced wine from our carefully curated blend of Maipo Valley grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Carménère.

PROFILE

Fall for the deep, intense violet color. Grapes are picked and fermented separately to retain their individual integrity, and then blended and placed in oak to increase both the complexity and fruity characteristics.  With notes of predominately red fruits such as plums, cherries and raspberries, along with richer black currants and blueberries, the aroma is complemented by elegant yet subtle notes of violets, vanilla, cloves and a touch of cocoa. The final expression is lush, fresh and juicy with good depth and soft, ripe tannins.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Red meats, pastas, creamy sauces and semi-ripe cheeses.
